Two men were shot and wounded outside an Etobicoke high school on Wednesday afternoon, sending the school into lockdown mode.
Students at Burnhamthorpe Collegiate Institute were locked inside just after 2 p.m. as police investigated the shooting.
One victim, a 22-year-old man, was found wounded in the parking lot where the shots were apparently fired, and the other, an 18-year-old, was later located inside the school.
Police believe the second man was shot outside before entering the school.
Both were taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said two men were taken into custody shortly after the shooting.
No charges have been laid.
